A few positive things happened in Pokemon Go Land recently, which I should highlight.
First, the decision to change “151 different Pokestops” to “151 Pokestops” was a very wise decision in the Shiny Mew Research. At least 151 spins will be a lot easier to obtain in this era of travel, dining, and other important related industries being restricted. I agree that the untimed research should take some time and be complex. I enjoy the hunts of untimed research. It should be reachable without total frustration and the goal being seemingly very difficult at best. I am glad that Niantic understands that outside of the more urban settings, finding 151 different Pokestops can be very difficult without traveling to such places and not everyone likes to go urban areas unless they have to.
It was great seeing Wailmer as one of the rewards for finishing Step 1 of the Weather Week Timed Research. It’s (seemingly) rare that Wailmer gets any kind of spotlight in the actual game play, so to see a big whale smiling back at me is an unspeakable joy. Keep it up.
Also, seeing Togetic as the final reward for Weather Week was great to. It has been a while since a Togekiss family member has been featured anywhere.
Putting in Rayquaza as a 5* Raid Boss today (this is being published on March 27, 2021) is a good help to those of us who still need Dragons for the Shiny Mew Research like myself. Hopefully the dragons will be out in full force as well during the windy part of Weather Week as well. That part of the Shiny Mew Research has been very frustrating. As of the beginning of the day, I am at 12 Dragons and most of them are due to the Weekly Research Gibles and the luck of drawing the right Daily Researches. Hopefully this will render the dragon part of the Shiny Mew Research portion moot.
Finally seeing Lickitung in 3* Raids is always welcome. Lickitung is a welcome sight anytime.
