The 12km (7.46 mile) trade range was a small step in the right direction. Maybe in the cities, 12km is enough to capture a good number of friends to trade with. One can get all of Manhattan, just beyond the Meadowlands and Statue of Liberty, and a good chunk of Queens and Brooklyn from 30 Rockefeller Plaza in New York City. From Ford Field in Detroit, you can easily hit most of Windsor and hit Dearborn and a good amount of the area. All of Boston (this is from Fenway Park) fits. Granted, people don’t live at those specific addresses, but I wanted to show landmarks that are recognizable. For me… it barely gets to downtown of my town, which I don’t go to (no map for privacy, but yea). I think I know maybe a handful of fellow players in the 12km circle. To where I play on a regular basis, the circle more than doubles to 28 km. On top of that, I do not know exactly where my friends that I see where I normally play live (so that could easily make the circle even wider)… so if you want to help rural and rural/suburban players out, make it 50 km.

The Swords are a fun trio, but having three at one time for only one week is a bit overwhelming. This could have been a one per week (which seems to be the sweet spot for repeat raids) and not felt so over urgent, but I guess that’s the point.

I am looking forward to the Lake Trio. It’s not so bad with all the remote raids. Hopefully there will be room for out of region people to get all three in the remote world. We shall see.

I am thankful I have a friend with a Switch so I cold get a Mystery Box for the Pokemon Home week. Will probably open it later this week. I hope to get a stronger one than I have.

UGH
