More Quick Hits October 27

A few more things I have noticed lately that I have a thought on, but not enough for a full entry…

With the proliferation of Mega Pokemon, it’s getting harder and harder to tell what mega energy belongs to what Pokemon. Is there a way to put the name of the particular Pokemon under or above the Candy illustration in the researches? I hope that they will be in more daily researches in the near future since the supply is finite as of now.. I know that sometimes a certain Pokemon is featured, but I don’t always remember. Like I know I would for now avoid Charles Zard since I have 1440 Mega Candies. However, I have 0 Houndoom, so I can use that.

I somewhat like the new Quest with your Buddy to evolve. I liked the challenge to get Sirfetch’d with 10 Excellent throws. At least they don’t have to be in a row. That would be insane. That is a challenging yet fun quest. I finished a couple Sirfetch’d on regular spawning Pokemon. I like the walk x KM with your buddy ones. That serves the purpose of the game well and especially for those I want (or need the candy for), it would have been inevitable. I don’t like the Yamask that I need to have it tag along as my buddy for raids. Normally I like to have a buddy at Level 2 for Buddy Ball (Catch Assist), especially for 5* Raids. Fortunately, Darkrai is a much easier throw for me, so I can tag Yamask along for those 10. That and I hope to remember on Wednesday Nights when I will have multiple raids in a roe. I’ll do it, but I don’t like it (a lot of tasks are that way). I just hope that if there are more that they are more the skill variety (50 great throws would be fun) and less of the tag along version.

That 9 nice in a row was more nervewracking that 5 great in a row. I got a sense of relief when I did it… and a Gengar. Not the best… not the worst. However, x in a row throws are better suited for an untimed challenge.

Surprising Tank: Obstagoon (or as I call this Pokemon KISS)… and it works against Darkrai pretty well.
